NCCK urges President Ruto, Raila to embrace dialogue

The National Council of Churches of Kenya says it is ready to mediate the dialogue between President William Ruto and Azimio Leader Raila Odinga, to end the mass protests organised by the opposition. The church leaders who met in Limuru have appealed to both President William Ruto and Raila to embrace dialogue, so as to secure peace and national cohesion. NCCK has also called on the opposition to exhaust the channels provided for in the constitution in resolving national issues, before resorting to mass action.
