‘Solemn but uplifting’: Qalipu First Nation’s Red Dress Day brings people together

Red Dress Day is commemorated across Canada and honours missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. The CBC’s Amy Feehan spoke to event organizers in Corner Brook who said it’s only by keeping a spotlight on gender-based violence that women will hopefully feel comfortable to talk about it.
