Former Australia batsman Dean Jones died due to cardiac arrest on Thursday. Jones, who revolutionized batting in ODI cricket, passed away at 59. He was in Mumbai with Star Sports' commentary team for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dean Jones is survived by his wife and two daughters. Cricket fraternity including India's skipper Virat Kohli, and former Australia captain Michael Clarke mourned the demise of the former Australia batsman. "Shocked to hear about the tragic loss of Dean Jones. Praying for strength and courage to his family and friends," Kohli wrote on Twitter. "Awful to hear the news of Dean Jones passing away in Mumbai. He was a wonderful player for Australia and he will be missed. My thoughts are with his family. RIP Deano," tweeted Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith. Jones played 52 Tests, 164 ODIs for Australia, he was part of the 1987 World Cup winning team. Jones scored over 6068 ODI runs at an average of 44.61 with seven centuries and 56 fifties.
